Meet Gideon 🐾

Gideon is a 5.5-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback x Staffy puppy who currently weighs 13kg and still has plenty of growing to do. He came into GAWS as a stray, so we don't have any background history, but what we do know is that Gideon is a friendly, social boy with a zest for life.

As a young pup, Gideon may need some guidance adjusting to inside-outside living and learning the routines of a home environment. He is high energy and would benefit from consistent boundaries, ongoing obedience training, and plenty of appropriate physical and mental enrichment to help him grow into a well-mannered adult.

Gideon has shown he enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive with a well-balanced adult dog to help show him the ropes. His enthusiasm can sometimes come with happy zoomies, so while he could do well in a home with children, we recommend dog-savvy kids who understand respectful interactions.

Gideon has not yet been tested with cats, however this may be explored further for the right home.
