Two tiny adventurers, one big road trip ahead

Scooter and Sprout are two young male puppies who have already worked out that life is better when you take it on together.

Currently growing, learning and being loved in foster care in Newman, these boys are getting ready for their next big adventure, a road trip down to Perth at the beginning of January, where they will be looking for families of their own.

Scooter is the bold little explorer of the pair. Curious, busy and always keen to see what’s happening next, he’s the puppy who leads the charge with a wagging tail and bright eyes.

Sprout lives up to his name. Thoughtful, gentle and quietly confident, he’s the puppy who takes a moment to take things in before jumping in with enthusiasm. Once he’s comfortable, his playful side shines through and he’s right there beside Scooter, ready for fun.

Like all young puppies, they are still learning the basics of life, toilet training, routines, confidence and good manners and they are doing this in foster care with a loving family. This means we are getting to know their personalities, needs and quirks, so we can help match them with the right homes.

Scooter and Sprout will be adopted separately and would suit families ready for the joy, patience and laughter that comes with raising a puppy. They are young, adaptable and full of potential, and they’ll thrive with guidance, consistency and plenty of love.

SAFE is a foster-based rescue. We don’t have a shelter you can visit, but that doesn’t stop you from meeting your next best mate. If you’re interested, simply submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet once they arrive in Perth.

Sometimes the best stories start with a road trip… and these two are ready to see where it leads.
