Some pairs are simply meant to stay together, and Sally and Denny fall into this category. They are a mother / son pair who share a deep, loving bond that’s heartwarming to witness and even more special to live with. What's better than a ginger cat? Two gingers of course!
Sally is the confident, affectionate leader of the pair. With her sunny short-haired coat, stunning green eyes and bright personality, she brings calm & stable energy in every home. Sally adores pats, cuddles, and making biscuits on soft blankets. She’s a total lap cat who loves being involved in daily life, be it curling up beside her human while they work, or chatting away in her signature “quack-meow”, almost like her accent. She’s smart, playful, and already learning tricks like sit and high five. When she’s not chasing her feather wand or bunny-kicking her favourite tennis ball, you’ll find her sunbathing by the window, content and purring.
Denny, with his light ginger medium fluff and darker green eyes, is Sally's shadow. Denny is sensitive and sweet-natured and often relies on Sally for reassurance. Denny will start shy at first, but once he feels safe with his human/s, his lovely personality comes out. He’s wonderfully playful especially when the feather toy comes out, and his clumsy, goofy antics will make you smile every day. His predictable 4pm wrestle sessions with Sally are funny and entertaining, and always end in snuggles and soft purrs.
Sally’s confidence brings out Denny’s courage, and Denny’s affection brings out Sally’s nurturing side. They groom each other, play together, and curl up side by side for naps. Their foster carer says they’re a joy to live with, affectionate, well-mannered, and full of personality.
Sally and Denny are fully litter-trained, indoor adapted, and have perfect house manners. They’re cat-friendly and could adapt well to a home with another calm feline. They’d thrive in an indoor-only home with sunny windows, gentle humans, and a predictable routine. A quiet, calm household with adults or older, cat-savvy teens would suit them best. They haven’t been tested with dogs and would prefer a dog-free home.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
