Frankie – Gentle Golden Oldie
Frankie is a calm, affectionate greyhound with a beautiful nature and a big love for quiet companionship. Frankie is a golden oldie who has recently celebrated his birthday and is now looking for a home where he can enjoy the simple pleasures of life: a comfy bed, a couch, and people or dogs around him.

Frankie was originally adopted into a two-person household. Following a separation, he is now living with one owner whose army role requires frequent and sometimes sudden deployments. While Frankie has coped well, it has become clear that he would thrive in a home where someone is around more often and where companionship is more consistent.

Frankie’s Personality & Behaviour

Frankie is an easy-going, well-mannered boy who settles quickly and fits comfortably into home life. He is not demanding and is happiest simply being near his people.

• Not jumpy and settles quickly
• No resource guarding
• No sleep startle
• Confident in everyday environments

Children & Other Dogs

Frankie has been wonderful with children of all ages, from babies through to toddlers and older kids. He is currently living as a solo dog but has successfully spent time with other dogs in the home. Frankie would be happy as an only dog or potentially with a calm canine companion following appropriate introductions.

At Home & On Walks

Frankie is house-trained and comfortable being left overnight. He walks beautifully on lead, staying close and not pulling. He is relaxed around city sights and sounds and takes most things in his stride.

This is an assisted rehoming, and Frankie will remain with his current owner until the right home is found.
