About Neville
Neville is a large, bundle of love with the most wonderful, eye-catching fluffy tail and the softest fur you can imagine. He’s a real sweetheart with a confident, friendly, and affectionate nature, and he settles into new home environments with impressive ease.
Neville’s favorite thing in the world, apart from food, is being wherever you are. You’ll never be lonely again while doing the laundry, washing the dishes, or even using the bathroom, Neville will be right there to supervise, offer helpful suggestions, and politely request chin scratches. He really loves his food, and this is by far the quickest way to win his heart.
He enjoys spending time looking out the window, watching birds in the backyard, and soaking up the world from a cozy spot. In the evenings, Neville likes to be close to his people and will happily keep you company at night, whether that’s curled up nearby or joining you on the bed.
Neville will quickly learn exactly what your homecoming sounds like and will be waiting at the door to greet you. Be warned, he will steal your favorite chair, your hugs, and very quickly, your heart.
Currently, Neville is in a foster home with one person and no other animals. However, he is incredibly good-natured and forgiving and would likely adapt well to a home with other animals and children given gentle introductions.
Neville is ready to bring constant companionship, warmth, and a whole lot of love to his forever home.
Medical notes
Neville has a minor (Grade 1 out of 4) dental disease. At this stage, a dental procedure under general anesthesia is not indicated as the disease process is generally reversible with dental home care.
Neville will benefit from ongoing dental home care, such as a dental care diet (such as Royal Canin Dental Dry Food) and regular brushing of teeth.
This pre-existing condition may require future veterinary care and the adopter will be responsible for any costs associated with this condition.
A dental checkup in 3 months at your preferred local veterinarian is recommended. Neville should have regular veterinary checkups (at least annually), and you should seek veterinary advice promptly if you notice any changes in your pet's health or behavior.
Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
