About Mollie
Meet Mollie, a lively and affectionate young dog who's eager to find a loving new family. She came from the shelter anxious and with matted fur, but with some grooming and veterinary care, she's blossomed beautifully in foster care. Mollie is now a healthy, active, and energetic companion, especially fond of chasing and retrieving balls in the backyard and delighting in her toys and treats.
Mollie gets along well with older teenagers, making her a perfect fit for families with grown-up kids or adults looking for a playful, loyal pet. Her fondness for people shows in her cuddle sessions; she often snuggles up to her trusted humans at bedtime, whether in their bed or in her own plush pet bed nearby. She really just wants to be wherever you are.
While Mollie is partially toilet trained and adept at using the dog door, she sometimes prefers to come inside for bathroom time. Though she's yet to master all her commands, Mollie's heart is in the right place; she simply needs a patient family ready to invest some time in her training and discipline.
Walking Mollie can be a challenge due to her tendency to react strongly to other dogs, people, and even strollers, so her ideal family would have experience or willingness to work through this with professional guidance. Despite her past lack of training, her spirit and eagerness to please, given a little guidance and structure, promise a lifetime of companionship and affection.
Mollie's past might not have been easy, but she is ready for a fresh start with a family who understands her needs and is committed to providing the guidance and care she merits. In return, Mollie promises to shower you with love and her delightful, spirited presence. Consider opening your heart and home to this lovely pup who’s ready to embark on her new journey.
