Ruby came to us through no fault of her own and has been an absolute pleasure to care for.
As a young and active mixed-breed girl, she's looking for a family who can include her in their daily adventures and give her plenty of physical and mental enrichment. With her excellent food drive and eagerness to please, Ruby would be a fantastic candidate for dog sports, trick training, and fun confidence-building activities.

During her assessment, Ruby showed some nervousness with dogs who approached her too closely and preferred to do her own thing, so she would likely be most comfortable as the only dog in the home. She has previously lived with children and may suit a family with dog-savvy kids who can help set her up for success. She will also benefit from a gradual introduction to indoor/outdoor living in her new environment.

Ruby walks nicely on lead most of the time, and she's so ready to start her happily-ever-after with a loving family who can match her enthusiasm for life.
