Meet Mia Thermopolis

Just like her namesake, Mia Thermopolis didn't arrive at the shelter ready to rule the kingdom. At first, she's a little unsure of herself - shy, cautious, and much happier observing the world from a safe distance than stepping into the spotlight. But beneath that timid exterior is a gentle soul simply waiting for her own "makeover montage" moment.

Mia is a sweet, sensitive girl who needs time, patience, and a calm environment to truly shine. She may not present as confident in the shelter (let's be honest, who would?), but with consistency, kindness, and a loving home, she has all the potential to blossom into a confident little princess. Think less "awkward school day" and more "poised queen of the palace", at her own pace.

Once she feels safe, Mia shows signs of her royal nature: soft curiosity, gentle affection, and a quiet appreciation for those who respect her boundaries. She's looking for a home that understands that not all princesses arrive wearing tiaras - some need time to discover who they are.

If you're willing to give her patience, love, and a peaceful castle to call home, Mia Thermopolis just might surprise you. After all ... every princess has a beginning.
