Wayne came into care after appearing at his foster carer’s front door alongside Wax, loudly announcing that the food situation required urgent attention. Since then, Wayne has revealed himself to be a gentle, fluffy soul with a sensitive heart and a quietly endearing personality.

Wayne is a stunning silvery grey domestic long hair with an impressively fluffy coat and a famously curly tummy. He’s undeniably handsome, but it’s his sweet, slightly awkward nature that really wins people over. Wayne is chatty in his own soft way, sometimes meowing with his tongue poking out, and he has a clumsy streak that makes him both hilarious and deeply lovable.

While Wayne can be shy and timid at first, he settles into a relaxed and gentle companion once he feels safe. He enjoys playtime – especially anything involving a laser pointer – and can happily entertain himself or quietly keep you company. He loves soft, fluffy beds and isn’t always the most coordinated, occasionally tumbling off things in a way that suggests grace was optional.

Wayne strongly dislikes the vacuum cleaner and will make himself scarce when it appears, but otherwise has no behavioural concerns. He is selective with other cats and dogs and would do best in a calm home with older children (12+) who can respect his sensitive nature. Wayne is closely bonded with Wax (Waxillium) and would love to remain with him if possible, as their companionship provides comfort and confidence. Are you ready to Wax and Wayne? To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
