Meet Rue - Your Future Partner in Crime, Cuddle Buddy & Adventure Sidekick
If youâre looking for a dog who brings sunshine, silliness, and pure joy into every moment, Rue is your girl. This confident, curious, and wonderfully goofy pup is bursting with personality. Sheâs the kind of dog who lights up a room (and your life) without even trying.
Deaf? Yes. Held back? Absolutely not.
Rue may not hear the world the way most dogs do, but she doesnât miss a thing. Her smarts and adaptability shine through in every training session, and sheâs already thriving with Helen Kellerâstyle communication using hand signals and touch cues - and she loves it. Sheâs proof that deaf dogs can be extraordinary learners.
Lead-Walking Queen & Budding Athlete
Rue is a dream on the lead - calm, attentive, and beautifully in sync with her handler.
And donât let her age fool you⊠this girl has wheels. Rue has recently discovered her passion for beach runs and is already comfortably jogging up to 5km every now and then! Whether it's a steady stroll or a sandy shoreline sprint, sheâs right there with you, tail wagging.
A Puppy With Remarkable SelfâControl
Rueâs impulse control is genuinely impressive for her age. Sheâs already:
1. Crate trained
2. Focused and eager to learn
3. Able to regulate her excitement better than many adult dogs
This makes her an absolute pleasure to live and train with.
Affectionate, Friendly & Full of Heart
Rue is as loving as they come. She adores people and has been around kids aged 5+ with ease. Her playfulness, her cuddly nature, and her gentle confidence make her the kind of dog who blends into your family like sheâs always been there.
What Rue Needs
Just a little time, consistency, and patience as she continues learning her hand signals. In return, sheâll give your family ten times the love, joy, loyalty, and laughter you invest in her.
Who Sheâd Suit
Rue would make an amazing addition to:
- A family wanting a clever, affectionate companion
- Households with kids 5+
- Someone active whoâd love a running or adventure buddy
- Anyone excited to continue her positive hand-signal training
- A person looking for a loyal âpartner in crimeâ with a goofy streak
Medical notes
Rue was born deaf, but it doesnât slow her down one bit! Sheâs a bright, energetic, and loving pup who learns quickly with patience and positive training. With calm guidance and clear cues, she thrives and enjoys life to the fullest, proving that being deaf doesnât stop her from being the joyful, playful girl she is.
