About Honey STK014221 & Lady STK014220
Meet Honey and Lady, two beautiful teenagers with hearts that are slowly opening to the world. These sisters have had a challenging start, coming from the streets as scared and timid strays. Yet, they are bravely taking steps forward and beginning to trust the people around them.
Honey, the white and tortoiseshell beauty, is the more adventurous of the two. Always curious about her surroundings, she is the first to explore and engage with what’s happening. Little by little, Honey's outgoing nature is guiding her sister, Lady, toward a brighter, more trusting future.
Lady, with her quiet demeanor, is still hesitant and relies heavily on her sister's reassurance. But don’t let her shy exterior fool you: with patience and gentle encouragement, Lady shows glimpses of her true playful spirit.
These sweet siblings adore mealtime and playtime, two simple joys that bring them comfort and delight. They dream of finding a peaceful home where routines are cherished, and quiet moments are abundant—ideally a haven without the bustle of children or dogs.
If you can offer these lovely teenagers the time and space to adjust, with gentle patience and understanding, you will witness them blossoming and discovering the warmth of human love. Honey and Lady are ready to start a beautiful new chapter with a caring human who understands the beauty of progress made one paw at a time.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
