About Otis - 7 Year Old Brussels Griffon
Meet Otis 🐾
Otis is a gentle, affectionate little companion who’s looking for a calm, loving home where he can truly thrive.
Otis is a three-legged pup with no ongoing health issues. He moves comfortably with a few simple supports like ramps to avoid jumping, and he’s perfectly content living life at a relaxed pace.
💛 What makes Otis special:
• Absolutely adores people and forms deep bonds with his humans
• Crate trained and reliably toilet trained (he’ll patiently wait by the back door when he needs to go out)
• Exceptionally well-behaved for grooming and bath time
• Cat friendly
• Quick to learn new routines and responds well to consistency
🌿 Lifestyle & walks:
Otis enjoys short, leisurely walks and loves cruising in his pram when he’s had enough. He prefers quieter routes and relaxed environments where he can explore at his own pace. Busy dog parks and crowded spaces aren’t really his thing — Otis is much happier having his own space and taking things slowly.
🐕 With other dogs:
On walks, Otis can be selective with canine company, especially in new or stimulating environments. With patient handling, positive reinforcement, and gradual introductions, he has been improving in this area.
🏡 At home:
Otis settles well at home and can manage moderate periods alone. Like many dogs, he may vocalise briefly when left, but providing enrichment and a predictable routine helps him feel secure.
🚗 Travel:
Otis isn’t a fan of car rides and would suit a home where frequent travel isn’t required.
✨ Ideal home:
Otis would thrive in a calm, low-key household that values companionship over constant adventures. He’s the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, affectionate dog who enjoys quiet walks, cosy routines, and being close to his people.
If you’re looking for a dog who will love you wholeheartedly and fit beautifully into a slower, more intentional lifestyle, Otis may be your perfect match 🤍
Otis is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW. His adoption fee is $500, and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and microchipped.
