Meet Java, a short-haired black kitten with the kind of energy that suggests he is a double-shot with espresso… permanently. This little guy is always switched on and will need another energetic kitten or cat in the house to help burn off his enthusiasm for life. If there’s movement, mischief, or mayhem happening, Java will be front and centre, tail high and ready for action.

When it’s time to slow things down (briefly), Java is all about affection. He adores pats and will purr like a coffee machine mid-brew, turning up the volume as you keep going. He’s also a big fan of boofing your face to politely (and repeatedly) request kisses. Personal space? Never heard of it. He may also climb up onto your shoulder like a tiny parrot cat, just to supervise your activities from the best possible vantage point.

Bring out a feather wand and watch Java completely forget physics. He launches, flips, and flings himself into the air with zero concern for where he might land - on a sibling, off the edge, or directly into chaos - because the chase is everything. He loves play-fighting with his brother and sister and is confident with other cats, making him a fantastic addition to a lively, playful household.

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
