Meet Espresso - small, black, short-haired, and extremely strong for someone who clearly runs on double shots of chaos. This little guy is packed with energy and enthusiasm, and just like his namesake, he’s best enjoyed with company. Espresso will need another energetic kitten or playful cat in the house to help burn off his zoomies, wrestle sessions, and spontaneous bursts of kitten mayhem.

Despite his high-octane lifestyle, Espresso is also very affectionate. If you’re nearby and not paying attention, expect a gentle tap from a tiny paw as a polite (but firm) reminder that pats are now required. Once you comply, the purr motor fires up instantly, loud, proud, and nonstop - like he’s just been switched to “maximum brew.”

But when the feather toys come out? That’s when Espresso truly shines. His pupils dilate, his body crouches low, and his paws go into full turbo mode. With the precision of a seasoned hunter and the drama of a Broadway performer, he launches into action. One moment he is poised and still, the next he is leaping through the air and snatching the feather from your hand like a tiny warrior. And once he has caught it? Don’t even think about taking it back – he will strut around proudly, tail high, showing off her hard-earned trophy to the entire household.

He absolutely loves play-fighting with his brother and is confident and comfortable around other cats, making him a great fit for a social, active household.

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
