Hi, I’m Snickers,

I’m a happy, bouncy, energetic Labrador x Staffy girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will follow you around and quietly sit at your feet, after a good play, of course, I might just be your girl.

I’ve grown up around kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens, and I’m gentle when taking food from both adults and little hands. I also live happily with cats and other dogs and love having friends to play with. When I meet new people or dogs, I get very excited, sometimes I jump, but I’m friendly, submissive, and mostly just want to play.

I love tennis balls, playing fetch, and anything involving water. If there’s a splash to be had, I’m in. I’ve got plenty of energy and would thrive with someone who enjoys daily exercise and playtime. I’m still learning my manners on the lead because everything out in the world is very exciting, but I don’t mind wearing one and I’m eager to learn.

At home, I’m house trained, travel well, and can be left home alone without any trouble. I don’t bark excessively and am nice and quiet at night. I sleep outdoors but spend time in and out of the house during the day, and I don’t climb on furniture or beds. I know how to sit and lie all the way down, especially when treats are involved, meaty ones are my favourite.

I do enjoy chewing, and my humans think that’s just because I’m clever and need a bit more mental stimulation. With the right toys, training, and enrichment, I’ll be my very best self.

Like many rescue dogs, I have so much love to give and just need someone willing to invest time, patience, and guidance. In return, you’ll get a gentle, affectionate, fun-loving companion who truly wants to be part of your family.
