• A Gentle Giant Who Knows His Size: Despite his giant paws and big tail, Tycho is a
rare big dog—he understands his size and is a very gentle, loving goofball who is
mindful of his presence.
• Goofball Extraordinaire: He has an abundance of energy and charm. He loves silly
play, but his favorite goofy activity is dipping his head completely under the water
in the dog pool!
• Affectionate & Attentive: This big boy loves cuddles and attention. He thrives on
being near his people and getting all the physical affection he can handle.
• Brainy & Obedient: He knows basic commands and is eager to please, making him
easily trainable and a wonderful student.

Tycho is looking for a family who understands the love and commitment required for a big dog with a big personality.
• Companionship Preferred: Tycho is a little anxious when left alone. While not a
strict requirement, a home where he isn't alone for long periods or a home with a
dog friend (he absolutely loves to play with other dogs!) would be an ideal situation
to help him thrive.
• Kids: Tycho would love, adore, and cuddle children. However, due to his sheer size,
he is best suited for dog-savvy children who can handle a bigger dog and
understand his boundaries.
• Other Pets: He is untested with cats, but given his sweet and gentle temperament,
he would likely be fine with a slow introduction.
• Environment: A home that can provide plenty of play, walks, and a safe place for
him to enjoy his favorite pool-dipping hobby!
