Meet Barney, a charming 14-month-old Staffy who’s a delightful blend of intelligence, affection, and energy.

Barney is on the lookout for a forever home where his zest for life and loving nature can truly shine. His foster carer says he has an incredibly kind heart. This adorable pup is eager to become the loveable, loyal friend you've been dreaming of.

Barney's cheerful personality lights up every room he enters, and he'll ensure your days are filled with laughter and unforgettable moments. He's mastered "sit" and is already working on "shake", proving he is a keen learner, especially when treats are involved! His occasional snorts of joy signal an overflowing heart, making his presence even more endearing.

Barney doesn't enjoy being left alone for long, and is happiest when he's part of a bustling home, surrounded by family and possibly doggie companions to share his ventures with. He enjoys the company of kids in the foster home being 13 and 17! He has met other young kids 6 and 9 who enjoyed him but younger children may find him a little jumpy and excitable initially.

Barney dreams of warm sunny days playing outdoors expending some of his youthful energy, zoomies or games in the yard, or embarking on adventures.

He loves the company of both humans and other dogs including playful interactions at the dog park. Indoors, Barney is polite, having mastered house training , crate training and doing well at walking on the lead. But most importantly, he loves a shared snuggle in the bed.

Barney's perfect home is active, full of laughter, and ready to engage with his energetic and loving spirit. He thrives in lively surroundings and especially enjoys the joyful chaos that children bring, playing and running around together.

With a gentle disposition, his capacity to shower affection is boundless. Whether it's sitting patiently while receiving pats from enthusiastic fans at Bunnings or exploring new places, Barney is the ideal travel companion, always ready for the next adventure.
