Penny (Wise)

Hi. I am Penny (Wise).

I am the brave one. Curious. Playful. And just a little bit dramatic when I realise I am alone in a room. I will let out a tiny cry to remind you that I exist and that attention is very welcome. Usually I will just come and find you instead. Problem solved.

I get along well with other cats and I especially love playing with my brother. We wrestle, we chase, we make a mess. It is excellent fun. I have not met dogs yet but I can be quite confident when I want to be, so with a slow and gentle introduction I might be just fine.

I could live as an only pet as long as you are around. I like company. I like knowing where you are. If there are no other animals I will happily fill that space myself.

I have been good with children. I am a bit more playful than my brother so I can get carried away, but I am also smart enough to walk away when things feel too much. I will sit near little humans quite happily and if it gets rough I just leave. Easy.

Strangers do not bother me. New people are just more potential friends.

More laps.
More hands for pats.

I will play with absolutely anything. A ball. A toy. A scrap of paper. If it moves or can be chased I am interested. I am also excellent with my litter habits and have never had an accident.

I do not have any big worries or anxieties. I am affectionate on my terms and when I decide it is cuddle time I will climb whatever I need to climb to curl up on your knee for a nap. You do not get a choice in the matter.

I am sweet. I am playful. I am confident.

And I know exactly when I want a cuddle!
