About Truffle
Truffle loves being in the action - just not in the middle of it! He likes to watch all the drama unfold around him. He's a quiet little guy who is happy for the world to swirl around him. He likes to climb up high to get a better look at the action.
He's very food oriented. He'll do pretty much anything for a treat. It's the way to his heart.
He is great with other cats. He loves hanging out with and playing with his siblings, and he's a bit of a mummy's boy. He'd be really happy in a house with another cat that he can hang out with and look up to. He's a cat's cat.
He would probably prefer a home without small children, as they don't really gel with his vibe. He'd be better suited to a quiet home where he can chillax.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Truffle was born in care (his mum came into the rescue heavily pregnant).
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
