About Sally - 8 Year Old Dachshund
Sally is a sweet and loving 8 1/2 year old female Mini Dachshund.
She came into care after her loving family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her due to ill health. It was an extremely difficult situation for everyone involved, and Sally was clearly very loved.
This loyal little lady loves playing fetch, especially with her favorite ball, and she gets very excited when it’s time for a walk. She walks well on the lead and brings plenty of enthusiasm along for the journey.
Sally enjoys human companionship and gets along well with other dogs of similar size. She’s a happy, excitable player and can bark enthusiastically when she’s having fun or excited. True to her breed, she’s loyal, obedient, and forms strong bonds with her people. Most of all, she has a lot of love to give.
She is also toilet trained and confidently uses a doggy door, making her an easy addition to home life.
With so much love to give, Sally is hoping for a family who will cherish her just as much as her previous one did. ❤️
Sally would thrive in a home that includes:
- Someone home more often than not, or a calm four-legged companion to keep her company.
- A home with minimal stairs, where she can be an inside dog with a secure yard to enjoy playing fetch
- Children aged 4 years and above
- A couple or family (with or without children) or another fur baby, who have plenty of love to give in return.
Sally is in foster care at Waratah West and available for adoption in NSW & ACT (no flights). Her adoption fee is $500. She is desexed, vaccinated and treated for ticks, fleas and worms.
