About Truffle
Meet Truffle!
Dumped & abandoned, that was Truffle's experience of humans by the age of 6 weeks old.
She is, however, a very happy, optimistic girl; her favourite pastime being snuggling up to people, learning that we can be trusted & we can help her feel safe.
Truffle would love a family of her very own, she deserves to be the centre of everything considering her rough start.
🐾 Puppy Guide: Helping Your Pup Thrive
🌍 Learning the Human World
Puppies are busy figuring out how the human world works, and they need gentle guidance. Slow, positive introductions to new experiences help build confident, resilient pups. 🐶✨
🎉 Positive Reinforcement
Reward the behaviours you love-because puppies will repeat them to earn reinforcement. Praise, food, toys, and play are all fantastic motivators. 🦴🍖🎾💖
🦷 Chewing
Puppies CHEW... A LOT! 😅 Provide plenty of suitable chew toys and manage your environment so they don't get into things they shouldn't. Puppy pens and crates are invaluable-they keep your pup safe while giving them a cozy space to eat, rest, and play. 🛋️🧸
🚽 Toilet Training
Toilet training takes months, not days. Repetition and consistency are key. 🕒✅ Never punish your puppy for mistakes-always reward them for getting it right. 🎉🐾
⚡ Energy & Curiosity
Puppies are curious, energetic, and love to explore. They require time, patience, and effort to thrive in our world. Children should be taught how to interact respectfully with puppies, and all play between young kids and pups should be supervised. 👧👦🐕👀
💕 Investing in Your Pup
The more time, consistency, and love you invest, the less likely behavioural issues will arise later. Researching your chosen breed is always worthwhile to ensure they're a good fit for your lifestyle. 📚🏡🐾
