Toby is looking for an owner who can handle a bit of attitude!

Toby is a unique character both in looks and personality. He's not particularly people-focused or affectionate, and his manners could definitely use some work, as he can be very jumpy and mouthy at times.

Toby is a mischievous boy who will absolutely test the boundaries if he can get away with it. He has shown that he can be snappy with any handling that he doesn't appreciate, and for this reason, he is muzzled for vet visits and grooming sessions. It's important that any potential adopters have plenty of experience dealing with dogs with this sort of temperament, and experience with this breed in particular would also be a bonus!

In the right hands, Toby will make a fantastic companion, in a quiet home with his person who will also have management plans in place for when visitors come over. He would make a great match for a homebody who is seeking companionship but not so much of the affection!

He will need a mature, adult-only home with no other pets.
