About Harold
Meet Harold - From Street King to Snuggle King!
Once the ruler of the back alleys, Harold had swagger, grit, and street smarts. Life on the pavement taught him resilience, but deep down, he always dreamed of something softer-a couch, a warm bed, and someone to call his own.
Now that he's discovered the good life, Harold is making up for lost time with endless love and affection. He's so happy to be your guy that he literally drools with joy when the pats start rolling in!
Harold's vibe? Think retired street thug turned hopeless romantic. He's traded the hustle for head boops, the cold concrete for cozy blankets, and he's never looking back.
If you're after a loyal companion who'll shower you with gratitude every single day, Harold's your man. He's proof that even the toughest cats have the biggest hearts.
Available for Meet and greets from the 19/12/25

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
