About Hugo
4 year old Hugo is ready to find his forever home.
He is a gorgeous and loving fox terrier who had a rough start in life, but is making up for lost time now with his zest for life!
Hugo has had surgery to repair a damaged hip from being previously hit by a car, and he’s getting around so much better now that he’s no longer in pain.
He is a bit reactive to new things and unfamiliar animals, and needs a gentle introduction to other dogs in the home, but once he meets everyone and realises he is safe, he’s fine.
He also considers himself an excellent little watchdog and will bark to alert you of any threats… possums, bats, you get the idea!
He is not aggressive, just a little nervous at first, but will quickly become your shadow and he’s a complete snuggle bug. He’d love nothing more than to hang out at home all day and be part of the family. He’s not a dog that needs to be taken out, as that just means more strange things to get used to, he’s more of a homebody.
Medical notes
4 year old Hugo is desexed and microchipped. He is up to date with vaccinations as well as flea, tick, heart worm and intestinal worm prevention.
Hugo has a had a femoral head ostectomy on his hip in September and has recovered well.
He has also had a dental scale and polish and full health check.
