About Blue
Hi I'm Blue: I am handsome, loyal, well-mannered, and I can't believe I haven't been snapped up yet. They tell me I'm a blue cattle dog which is as Australian as they come.
Let me tell you about myself: I am clever and trainable. I like to hang out with my humans and don't jump up and make your clothes all dirty. I can sit on command, come when called and can shake hands. My foster parents say I'm pretty good on a lead too.
My foster brother Oscar has grown on me and I think we get along pretty well. If I meet dogs on a lead I can get a bit excited so slow introductions are best.
There is a cat living in the same house as me but I don't really care about her. My foster mum took a video of me to show you but the silly thing seemed scared of me and I like my humans more.
Each afternoon when my foster mum gets home from work she lets me into the house and I know to go straight into my crate for some afternoon snacks. Oscar has been here longer than me and still gets distracted running around like a fool.
Once I've had a snack I am happy chilling out on the floor watching tv with my foster dad.
What do I want from you? To be loved and made part of the family like the beautiful Prince I am. I would love to follow you around inside and out. I prefer all the love and attention to myself but I am also happy having a friend to play with. Toys to play with would be great, I love a good ball. A dam or water to play in would be the icing on the cake.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
