She's very food motivated, learning to play with soft toys, and would thrive in a home that values routine, reassurance and gradual confidence building. Darcy is best suited to a quiet, understanding household, a secure yard, and a commitment to ongoing reward-based training.

She may be able to go home with another dog, with dog-savvy owners and pending a meet and greet. While underconfident, she may also suit older children, as long as they are gentle and quiet and understanding of Darcy's space. She has previously lived with cats, and may be able to in a new home, with slow introductions and management.
