About Lenny
Resilient Lenny — A Clever Kelpie Looking for His People
Lenny is a young Kelpie mix, born in October 2024. After spending almost three weeks in the pound, he was finally released — and the happiness shining through in his photos says it all. Lenny is affectionate, exuberant and resilient, with the sweet, loyal nature so typical of his Kelpie heritage.
His ideal home will offer space to run and play, secure fencing, and a compatible canine friend. Because he’s very people-focused, Lenny would also love indoor privileges and being part of everyday family life. He’ll do best with an experienced Kelpie owner who can help guide him as he matures — he has all the makings of a wonderful dog and just needs a little polishing as he grows.
Kelpies are renowned for their intelligence, loyalty and boundless energy. They thrive with plenty of physical and mental stimulation and, once their needs are met, are often affectionate “velcro” dogs at home.
Hardy and low-maintenance, Lenny doesn’t require much grooming and has that classic Kelpie charm that makes you feel good just being around him.
If you’re looking for a clever, loyal and joyful companion, Lenny could be the perfect match. 💛
