About Bobbie
Introducing Bobbie!
Bobbie is a Toy Poodle x born 6th April 2024. We don't know what Bobbie is crossed with, but he weighs 10.2kg & stands approx knee high.
Bobbie was brought into the facility as a stray, but sadly due to a death in the family they were no longer in a position to care for him. He has now been surrendered for rehoming.
His surrender profile has states that he is house trained, he's outgoing & confident, has no food aggression or known separation anxiety, he travels well in the car, he's friendly with children & adult strangers, he's friendly with other dogs but hasn't been introduced to cats. He has jumped small fences previously and he can be a bit of a digger when he's bored.
Since being at the facility Bobbie has been an absolutely beautiful young man. He's incredibly affectionate & loves everyone he meets. He's a very excitable boy who's very springy on his feet when he gets excited. He loves to play, cuddle & bounce with his favourite people.
Bobbie hasn't been tested with other dogs at the facility as we have no dog social dogs to test with. We know he has previously lived with another dog who he loved playing with. If you have a friendly dog/s at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Bobbie seemed unfazed by our facility cat, however she ran past him incredibly quick, so he may need re-testing.
Bobbie was scared of our resident rooster and tried leaving the area as quickly as possible. We believe Bobbie could live with pocket pets if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
Bobbie has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety while at the facility.
Bobbie's adoption fee is $850 includes his desexing & lifetime registration.
Bobbie is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Bobbie is looking forward to meeting you at East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
