About Narla
Hi! I'm Narla and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR Narla
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/9bd8r5tvwRmCFHR16
NOTE: You are unable to meet Narla until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Narla in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• I've made friends at the shelter, but once in a home I tend to get a bit excited when my person comes home and get bossy with the other dogs in the home. I'm best suited to being the only dog but am happy to say a quick hello with dogs out of the home.
• In my foster home I got to hang out with a cat, free roaming chickens, sheep & horses and I was a good girl with them.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I can be excitable and not realise my strength, because of this I may be best suited to a home with no little kids that I could accidentally knock over. Kids that are used to exuberant doggos would be ok
My best features:
• Super sweet, happy & smiley girl
• Wiggle bum
• I know how to sit, touch & drop (lay down)
• Highly food motivated
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I am responsive to my name
• I LOVE toys
• I walk very well on the lead. I may pull on the lead initially when excited but settle quickly and only pull lightly. I often look back at my handler to check in during a walk.
Medical notes
Left hip previous fracture now healed and arthritic. Right hip moderate dysplasia present. Left elbow mild Osteoarthritis. Recommendations are to monitor for signs of pain, pain management will be necessary as she ages.
