Van Halen is the kind of puppy who makes you smile the moment you meet her. With her two bold black eye patches and her soft, velvety coat, she looks like a little cartoon character come to life — expressive, sweet, and full of charm. She’s already showing that lovely blend of Border Collie intelligence and Staffy affection, but she carries it with a softness that makes her incredibly endearing.

Along with her sister, she has grown up playing with a big Blue Heeler and a mini Jack Russell, so she’s wonderfully social and comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Her play is joyful and enthusiastic, and she absolutely lights up when toys or cuddles are involved. But when it comes to new environments or unfamiliar situations, Van Halen can be a little hesitant. She takes a moment to observe, to check in, and to make sure she feels safe — and once she does, her whole personality opens up.

This little pup is crate trained, almost fully toilet trained, and already showing a beautiful willingness to learn. She’s clever and curious, but she’s still a baby, and she’ll thrive with a family who understands that confidence is something she’ll grow into with gentle guidance. She’ll need a home that understands the importance of patience, consistency, and ongoing training. Mental stimulation will be just as important as physical play for her, and she’ll thrive with someone who enjoys helping a clever young pup grow into her potential.
