About Sprig
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Scooped out of a bush and straight into foster care, Sprig is aptly named - though the spring in his paws might make you think it's a typo!
This lively, adventurous, fluffy little dynamo has energy for days, that's for sure. He adores rough-and-tumble play, exploring every nook and cranny in the vicinity, and chatting nonstop about whatever he discovers :) Closed doors are NOT his favourite - Sprig wants to be part of all the action!
Although playtime is his top priority, he has sweet bursts of affection that usually come in the form of enthusiastic head-bonks when he's feeling especially appreciative. He's also a big eater and will definitely remind you when he thinks it's mealtime...
Sprig's still learning his manners, so he'll need a patient adopter who's ready to guide him as he grows. He'll do best in a home with plenty of time for attention and structured play, or with another young and energetic cat who's eager for a playful companion :)
If you're looking for a bold, curious, high-energy kitten to keep you entertained, Sprig is excited to meet you!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Sprig is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will enjoy my fun playtime and chatty vocals, and have loads of enrichment toys for me to play with!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I hardly ever stop moving.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: At the moment, I can get over-excited and a bit nippy while playing, so kids aged 10+ would be my best match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm a bit indifferent to other cats, but I do play with them sometimes if they're into it. Dogs are an unknown at this stage but with the right introductions should be fun!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
