About King
Meet King - Your Energetic Sidekick! ( FOSTER TO ADOPT )
King is a 10-month-old Kelpie bursting with enthusiasm and intelligence. He responds best to a calm, confident approach and thrives on mental stimulation and moderate physical exercise-think puzzle toys, training games, and adventures that keep his mind busy.
King has basic manners, but when excitement takes over, he can forget them (he's still young!). He's dog social and enjoys meeting other dogs, but he's still learning polite doggy etiquette and will benefit from supervised, gradual exposure. At this stage, King isn't suited to live with another dog.
Due to his energy levels, King is better suited to homes with older kids who can handle his playful nature. If you're ready to invest time in training and enrichment, King will reward you with loyalty, fun, and endless personality.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
