Maverick is a gorgeous boy who has found himself needing a new home through no fault of his own. He’s an affectionate, happy dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

This super sweet boy loves nothing more than snuggling up on your lap and drifting off to sleep. He’s a big fan of pats—especially near his tail—and will happily soak up all the affection you can give.

Maverick enjoys playtime and could chase a tennis ball for ages. He doesn’t always bring it back or give it up, though—he often prefers to toss it around and entertain himself! He’s eager to get out and explore and is always up for a walk, often enthusiastically leading the way.

He previously enjoyed wrestling and playing with other dogs, but Maverick does like to rule the roost, and he likes to smother his people with love. He would thrive as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the attention or have another dog who is calm and balanced.

Maverick isn’t completely toilet trained yet. He spent most of his time outdoors and only came inside for short periods, so he’ll need a bit of patient house training—something he should pick up well with consistency and routine.
