About Afra
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Meet Afra - Your Strong and Silent Sidekick
Afra is the strong, silent type — a quirky little kitten with a big personality tucked inside his calm exterior. He loves to chill in the oddest places and can fall asleep just about anywhere that feels comfortable. When he’s awake, though, he’s all energy! Afra zooms around with his littermates and has impressive skills when it comes to batting a ball around.
His absolute favorite toy is a rattling mouse, which he proudly keeps all to himself. Despite his independent streak, Afra is incredibly affectionate. The moment you pick him up, he starts purring like a tiny motor.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful kitten who balances chill vibes with bursts of fun, Afra might be your perfect match.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Afra is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

💛 Ideal Home
Afra would love a family with adults or school-age kids who can keep up with his playtime and then hang out and relax when he’s ready to recharge
⚡ Energy Level
Kitten! He's got lots of energy to zip around with but then plonks down for a hang.
👧🧒 With Children
Afra would like gentle school-age kids who can go with his flow—playful when he’s playful and calm when he’s calm—would be ideal.
🐱🐶 With Other Pets
Afra loves his littermates, Tobia and Honour. He is also super interested in the resident cat and does his best to hang out with her.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
