Tones is the best mannered, sweetest, least complicated dog and he’s totally ready to meet his forever person.

This is a boy who loves to play and romp but never rushes or jumps at people or dogs, doesn’t object to things like bikes or skateboards, waits to be invited onto the couch or to eat his dinner, has no separation anxiety when you leave him, and gets on with everyone and everything. He’s just the easiest dog.

He loves his ball and loves to swim, at the river and the beach, and will run nicely beside a bike. Tug-of-war games are excellent, and he will proudly present you with a toy and a big tail wag when he wants to play. In between, he is happy to stretch out in the sunshine and sleep. He's not much of a cuddler, but curling up with you on the couch to watch some TV is one of his big joys. He sleeps quietly all night and greets you with a tail wag when you wake.

He’s been left indoors at home for several hours without a problem. No accidents, nothing wrecked, no food stolen, no fuss when you leave. He puts himself to bed and sleeps. He does love to chew things, but only his own toys.

There’s been no aggression at all in any circumstances. He doesn’t grumble over custody of his favourite ball, even when it’s taken from under his nose, nor around his food bowl. If anything, he can be a little timid (squeakers in toys be gone!) He’s anxious on longer car trips, but as soon as he arrives, he shakes it off, and he’s always ready to hop back in again when asked. He’s totally fine just driving around town.

He's a gorgeous boy, and would be fine either as an only dog or with a like-minded companion to play with.
