Oh hey there — it’s me, Pecco! 🏁

Yes, like the Italian MotoGP racer Pecco Bagnaia… though while he goes “vrooooom,” I prefer a more elegant “zoooooooom.” And honestly? The jury’s still out on who’s faster.

I’m a striking brindle boy with a statuesque, model-esque look — but don’t let that fool you. Once I’m comfortable, my silly side really shines through… especially when toys are involved. Toys are VERY serious business to me. They’re just SO MUCH FUN. I can get a little intense about them sometimes, so I’m looking for an understanding human who can continue helping me manage my big feelings around playtime.

The good news? I’ve already made amazing progress with my training and I’m learning more every day about how to regulate those big emotions — it’s just still a bit of a work in progress.

One of my absolute favourite things in the world is a good scratch behind the ears. Truly. I will happily stand there soaking it all in like it’s my full-time job. Between that and my love for my bed (which I take great pride in rearranging before performing the ultimate roach), I’ve got the perfect balance of playful and relaxed.

I walk beautifully on lead and really enjoy getting out and about, but I’m best suited to a quieter lifestyle overall. I’m looking for a calm, low-key home where I can feel safe and settled, ideally with a yard where I can enjoy my zoomies and play sessions.

I do take a little time to build trust, but once you’re in… you’re in. And I promise, it’s worth it. I form strong bonds with my people and become a loyal, affectionate, and wonderfully entertaining companion.

I’d prefer to be your one-and-only, as other dogs and busy environments can feel a bit overwhelming for me. In the right home, with patience and understanding, I truly thrive.

If you’re someone who appreciates a sensitive, playful, slightly goofy boy and you’re happy to continue guiding me as I learn… I think we could be something pretty special.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
