Oh hey there — it’s me, Pecco!

Yes, like the Italian MotoGP racer Pecco Bagnaia… though while he goes “vrooooom,” I prefer a more elegant “zoooooooom.” And honestly? The jury’s still out on who’s faster.

I’m a striking brindle boy with a statuesque look — very model-esque — but don’t let that fool you. Once I’m comfortable, my silly side shines through, especially when toys are involved. Playtime is serious business for me… and very entertaining for you.

One of my absolute favourite things in the world is a good scratch behind the ears. Truly. It’s hard to overstate how much joy this brings me, and I’ll happily stand there soaking it all in like it’s my full-time job.

I walk beautifully on lead and really enjoy getting out and about. I’m still learning how to navigate life around other dogs — I tend to feel things big and boldly — but the wonderful volunteers at Greyhound Rescue are helping me learn how to regulate those big feelings and set me up for success.

Because of this, I’m looking for a calm, understanding home where I can be your one-and-only, ideally outside of the inner city. Being an only child would suit me perfectly, as other dogs and little humans can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for me. In the right environment, though, I’ll be a loyal, affectionate, and wonderfully entertaining companion.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
