About Bonnie - 7 Year Old Ridgeback X
If you’re looking for a companion who needs no work, who is already fully trained, then Bonnie is for you. Bonnie has impeccable manners, lives to please, and seems to possess a sixth sense for understanding what you want. Bonnie won’t need you to invest time or money into training; she simply needs consistency with the wonderful habits she already has including sit, stay, come, dinner, bedtime, toilet.
She adores playing with other dogs, and during playtime she’s gentle, polite, and has shown zero signs of aggression. She’s equally lovely with children and has spent time around her foster carers’ 3-year-old grandson with no issues at all. Bonnie is super affectionate, she just loves everyone, be they little or big. When you’re chilling out on the lounge, Bonnie will be super content on the floor at your feet with lots of pats.
This perfect big gal is fully toilet trained and completely trustworthy indoors. She has her favourite spot in the house and will sit in her “dinner-time position” when she’s ready for her meal - a little routine that’s both charming and helpful.
Bonnie isn’t an overly active dog; she’s happiest snoozing the day away. We think she’d make a wonderful companion for an anxious dog, showing it how to settle, relax, and feel safe. She’s also fantastic on the lead—steady, calm, and content to walk beside another dog without pulling or trying to race ahead.
