Hi, I’m Max and I’m a 7-year-old tweenie dachshund and my best mate Bessie is a 3-year-old miniature. We’ve been together since Bessie was a puppy, so we are looking for a new home where we can stay together.
My human says I’m confident, sassy, happy, relaxed and good around people and other dogs. In our little doggy world, I like to think I’m the Boss (he’s not, says Bessie). I love going for walks on the beach or in the bush and playing with
squeaky toys – but the quality isn’t what it used to be as they seem to break easily. What I look forward to after dinner is being groomed – particularly my ears. Heaven!

Our adoption process includes a trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $1000 for Bessie and Max assists to cover the costs of vet work such as sterilisation, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check, blood tests and equipment.
