Hi Bessie here. I like my walks, too, specially following all the lovely smells along the way. I’m a little bit shy when first meeting people but do come out of my shell. I like to meet and play with other dogs, but I’m
wary around big boisterous ones. One of my favourite things after my after-dinner groom is to make a nest in my bed and not get up until the next morning, refreshed and ready for more adventures.

The perfect home for Max and me will be with an older person or couple with no children or cats, who have had dogs like us before. We’ll keep our paws crossed hoping someone will come along soon.

Our adoption process includes a trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $1000 for Bessie and Max assists to cover the costs of vet work such as sterilisation, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check, blood tests and equipment.
