Meet Toto, the delightfully charming 3-year-old Pomeranian who is ready to steal your heart! With his fluffy coat and joyful demeanor, Toto brings the perfect blend of companionship and vivacity to your life. At just 4 kilograms, he may be small in size, but his big, loving personality is sure to leave an impression.
Toto has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed - all set to transition to his new realm of love and care. Notably, Toto thrives best as the only canine in the house, basking in all the love and attention you can offer. He isn't a fan of cats, so a home without them will suit him best. While Toto prefers the company of adults, loyal and high-spirited, he will quickly become your sidekick.
He is a typical spoilt small dog, so might be challenging for a busy home and a home with kids and other pets. He is best suited to a quiet adult home , with people that can focus on him and shaping his spoilt behaviours.
In his ideal home, a securely fenced yard is essential to accommodate his bursts of energy as he trots around. Though he enjoys outdoor romps, Toto cherishes his time indoors just as much, making him the perfect furry companion for those who love cozy days at home.
Currently residing in Indooroopilly, Toto is eagerly awaiting his new family. His adoption fee of $895 ensures that he continues to receive top-notch care. If you're ready to bring a lively, loyal friend into your home, consider giving Toto the loving space he deserves. Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
