About Walter
Meet Walter, an endearing Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a heart full of potential and a charming personality to match. At three years old and weighing in at 9.4kg, Walter is ready to embark on a journey with his new family, creating a bond that will last a lifetime. His flamboyant ears, once matted, have been clipped and will soon return to their full, magnificent glory.
Walter is an intelligent pup who exudes confidence around both cats and dogs, making him a versatile companion for a variety of households. Although his leash-walking skills are a work in progress, Walter is willing to learn and improve with persistence and commitment. With a structured routine and a patient handler, Walter will become a well-mannered walking partner.
While he's eager to explore the world by your side, it's important to remember that Walter needs time to build trust and confidence, assuring him that you're his best friend and champion in this world. Once he opens up, you'll discover an affectionate companion full of warmth and loyalty, eager to share in your adventures and curl up for those cozy moments at home.
If you have the time and dedication to help this sweet boy thrive, Walter will reward you tenfold with his love and gratitude. Walter is patiently waiting for that special family who will embrace him for who he is and support him on his journey to becoming the perfect canine companion.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
