About Dexter
🐾 Meet Dexter! 🐾
At only 5 months old, this gorgeous, bright little dude has only known life on a chain 😢. Needless to say, he has a lot to learn about the world and human kindness, which can feel overwhelming at times. But here's the good news: Dexter is ready and willing to embrace his new life 💖. All he needs is an awesome teacher and guardian to guide him along the way.
✨ Dexter is part Kelpie, part German Shepherd, and part mystery mix! With working-breed genetics, he's one smart little cookie 🍪. If dog training is your thing, Dexter could be your perfect partner! He loves to learn, has fantastic focus, and would thrive in dog sports, agility, trick training, or even doggie parkour 🐕🦺. Crack open those training treats and show this young genius how to jump, spin, roll over, and dance! 🎉
🏡 Dexter will need someone at home to help him settle in. Toilet training is still on his to-do list (remember, he couldn't practice while chained up), so patience and consistency will be key. He'll do best with someone who is generally at home more often than not, as he's eager to become a valuable member of an active family.
🐶 Dexter could happily live with another dog, and we'd be glad to arrange a meet-and-greet if you already share your life with a canine companion.
After a rough start, Dexter is hoping the next chapter of his life begins very soon 🌈. Could that be with you? 💕
