About Scratch
Meet Scratch, the vivacious little canine with a heart full of love and a zest for life! Nearly six years old and weighing in at a petite 4.2kg, Scratch is a delightful Foxy x Jack Russell mix who is perfectly sized for companionship without compromising on personality.
Scratch is a social butterfly who adores people of all kinds. His tail always wags in excitement at the prospect of meeting new friends, both male and female. Whether you're looking for a walking partner or a cuddle buddy, Scratch is always ready for action and affection. While he's pretty good on a lead, Scratch might start pulling when excited, but don't worry; he quickly settles into a pleasant stroll. He's learning to come back when called, showcasing his eagerness to please.
When it comes to other animals, Scratch has demonstrated good manners. He's been friendly with similarly sized dogs at the shelter and has shown little interest in the resident cat, likely because the cat simply doesn't run. This little dude's outgoing nature makes him a joy to have around. Scratch would thrive in an active household that enjoys regular walks and engaging playtime.
If you're ready to welcome a charmingly adventurous and affection-loving companion into your life, Scratch is eagerly waiting to become your new best friend! His endearing personality and boundless enthusiasm are sure to bring endless joy to any home.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
