About Betty, the greyhound
If you are interested in Betty, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Meet Miss Betty. A quiet, observant, intelligent hound that loves nothing more than to snooze the day away in the same room as you. She will quietly watch you with her big brown eyes and little bat ears on standby.
Betty has adapted to pet life well in her suburban home with her foster family that includes two young children (3 and 5 year old). She shows no sign of sleep startle or resource guarding and will sleep through the night, giving a little squeak in the morning to let you know she needs to go outside for the toilet.
Betty’s confidence of the outside world is growing with every walk. She walks swiftly with good lead manners and is slowly acclimatising to the sounds of suburbia. She is non-reactive when meeting new dogs but tends to shy away from the energetic ones.
She would be happy in an apartment or house but does love a zoomie or two if space allows in the yard. She is content being a solo dog but would likely be ok with other pets if given a gentle introduction. Betty isn’t fazed at being home alone and will happily catch up on some zzz’s while you’re gone.
If you’re looking for a snuggly, soulful, calm and gentle hound, then look no further than the beautiful Betty.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
