Annabelle

Hi. I am Annabelle. I know I look sleepy all the time but I promise I am awake and paying attention.

Mostly.

I am very good with other cats. I love my brother Chucky and you will usually find us cuddled up together or quietly playing. He is my favourite pillow. I am also very respectful of the older cat in my foster home and I know when to give space and when to play.

I am extremely affectionate once I feel safe. I purr the moment you touch me. I give smooches, rub my face on you constantly, and will roll over to offer my belly like it is my full time job. If you sit down, there is a very good chance I will be on you. I am snuggly in the best possible way.

Dogs are fine too. I live with a dog in my home and we get along well. I do not roughhouse like my brother Frank does though. I prefer to observe, keep my space, and bring calm energy to the room.

I love company. I am happiest when someone is nearby and I can be part of whatever is going on. Because of this, I would really thrive in a home where someone is around more often, or where I have a friendly cat to keep me company. Either would make me very happy.

I have not met children yet but I am very gentle. I enjoy being picked up and I adore cuddles once I am comfortable. I think I would do well with kids who enjoy both play time and quiet snuggle time.

With new people I take my time. I am not the first to rush out and say hello but I am curious and confident. I will come out when I am ready and then I am all love.

I do not go wild for toys. I prefer climbing the cat tower, gentle play, and being close to my people. Toys get a polite boop now and then but companionship is my favourite thing.

My litter habits are perfect. No accidents. No drama.

I do not have any worries or anxieties. I am just a gentle soul with a sleepy face, a big purr, and endless cuddles to give. If you are looking for a sweet natured kitten who loves being close, I think I might be your girl.
