About Lucy & Frankie *9 Lives Project Rescue*
Lucy and Frankie are a sweet bonded pair who are rarely out of sight of each other. Both rescued from a street colony, they’re learning what it means to be a cat in a loving home. Lucy and Frankie both spend quite an amount of time studying what the humans in the house are up to, backing off and coming forward depending on the amount of noise being made and how familiar they are with it.
Lucy is playful and clever, carrying her little toy balls like treasures and pouncing with perfect timing, she has a high prey drive and is such a natural hunter that any toy that she can chase, jump on and stalk is her favourite.
Lucy is more timid of touch but is learning that a back scratch is enjoyable and she now prefers to be in the company of humans than without. She is a beautiful, quite girl, who is well worth winning her heart.
Frankie is ever curious which is one of his most special qualities as it helps him overcome the fear of whatever new human behaviour or noise has caused him to hide. Frankie loves exploring new things and chasing noisy toys and he actively seeks out affection, back scratches and nuzzles.
They’re both still a little shy around active dogs but can adjust and will happily take over the dog’s bed when they’re all napping. The both love treats and while Frankie needs no encouragement, Lucy will keep her distance.
Frankie and Lucy take turns in who is the leader, sometimes Lucy is more brave and curious and sometimes Frankie is, but they always have each others back. Together, they enjoy sunbeams, playful zoomies, and quiet snuggles, making them a loving pair ready for a home that’s patient and caring.

1. We ask that you fill in our Adoption Application before we make arrangements to meet a cat or kitten. This will help us to match you the best suited cat or kitten.

2. We will conduct an Interview via phone or video chat if your application is successful.
3. We will invite you to a meet and greet at a time that suits you and our foster carer.
4. If it is a purrfect match for cat and hooman, you will need to:
- Pay the adoption fee as listed. We accept direct deposit or cash.
- Sign our final adoption agreement and send it back to us
- We will conduct a house check and drop off your new friend. We carry out house checks to ensure that there aren't any escape routes, or toxic plants etc.
- We prefer our cats to remain indoors at all times for their safety and the safety of wildlife and are only outside if they have access to a cat run our are outside with supervision.
