Hi, I’m Tess. Some say I look like a tiny panther — sleek, dark, and always gliding quietly through the house like I own the place… which, let’s be honest, I probably do. 🐾

Nature
I love being around people. Wherever you are, that’s usually where you’ll find me too — supervising, observing, and making sure everything is running smoothly. I’m a curious little shadow who enjoys company, even if I like to keep a tiny bit of mystery about me.

When hands reach out for pats, I might take a step back at first. It’s not that I don’t like affection, I just like to make sure everything feels safe and on my terms. But once you start patting me and I realise you’re one of the good humans… oh, the smooches come out. I lean in, purr away, and soak up the love like the affectionate girl I secretly am.

I’m gentle, sweet, and never aggressive —just a slightly shy panther who loves people and enjoys being part of the action without all the fuss of being touched. With a little patience, I’ll happily turn into your loyal little shadow and professional cuddle enthusiast. I just need time to come around at my own pace.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a baby who I get along well with. She’s only just learning how to crawl, so I make her follow me. I don’t think I’d like toddlers or young children who would chase me and/or corner me.

I LOVE other cats. I wouldn’t suit being a solo cat, as I get a lot of my confidence from watching the other cats interact with the humans.

I get along great with puppies and dogs. I even play with the Cavalier in my foster home.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food — food is the way to my heart!

I dislike sudden movements towards me and loud, sudden noises, but I’m getting braver every day.

My PURR-fect home is an indoor only home with loving humans who will give me time to accept pats at my own pace but enjoy my presence around the house. I’d love lots of treats and a cat friend.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
