About Delphi, the greyhound
If you are interested in Delphi, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/kpSn4PdsS2Uc7gDt6
š Meet Delphi ā Your Quiet, Graceful Companion
Delphi is a gentle, independent soul looking for a calm, loving home to enjoy her well-earned retirement. Sheās the kind of girl who doesnāt need much ā just a soft bed, a peaceful space, and an adult who appreciates the quieter side of life.
Delphi is blind in her left eye, so approaching her from her right hand side is really important for her to feel safe.
š” Home Life
Delphi is currently living in a large duplex and has made it very clear: inside time is queen. Sheās not fussed about being outdoors for long stretches. A small yard is more than enough for her occasional wander and sniff.
š¾ Solo Star or Gentle Roommate
She gets along beautifully with other greyhounds, as long as her personal bubble is respected. Delphi would thrive as a solo dog, but she can coexist with others who understand that sheās a lady with boundaries.
š Independence & Downtime
Delphi is a pro at relaxing. Trulyāa professional. Sheās happy to lounge around on a comfy bed and doesnāt need constant attention. Sheās perfectly content in her own company and thoughts.
šØāš¦³š©ā𦰠Adults Only, Please
Delphi prefers the calm presence of adults and is not suited to homes with children. Sheās gentle, but kids and their energy just arenāt her thing.
Due to her left eye blindness, kids can be a little overwhelming as they move quickly.
š½ļø Food & Space
No resource guarding, no sleep startleāDelphi is very polite. She simply doesnāt want to share her meals (fair enough). Respect her space and sheāll be a happy, peaceful girl.
š¶āāļø Walks & Manners
Her lead manners are lovely. She walks softly, doesnāt pull, and occasionally breaks into a charming little prance that looks like sheās floating. A daily stroll is her ritual, and sheāll wait by the door when sheās ready.
š» Toileting
Delphi can hold overnight and for long periods during the day. She understands the routineājust show her the right spot at the beginning.
š City-Savvy Girl
Sheās unfazed by noise, traffic, and the bustle of city life. Just keep her away from playgrounds (kids again - no thanks).
š¶ Other Dogs
Friendly on the street, no issues with dogs she meets. Not cat tested.
š A Heart Thatās Healing
Delphi has recently come from a stressful situation and is slowly blossoming. Sheās mostly decompressed but will still need patience if she gets overwhelmed. Once she trusts you, she opens up beautifully.

⢠Independent yet affectionate in her own calm way
