Mogwai

Mog is a snorey, belly-up on his bed, happy, fat staffy, who has no idea he is supposed to be mature and will act like a puppy when it suits him, but most of the time, he is a well-mannered gentleman who is full of character and love for the simple things in life.

Mogwai is a big-hearted, big-personality Staffy with a cheeky streak and an impressive commitment to comfort. Affectionate and clever, he believes each day should include at least one visit to the park, quality time with his people, and as many pats as reasonably possible.

He has been with the same family since he was a pup, going everywhere from his inner city apartment with his people, he has seen it all. He currently spends some time alone outside during the day without any destructive behaviour, but he is very much a typical Staffy at heart — he adores comfort, soft beds, warm spots, and being close to his humans.

Out and about, Mogwai is well-mannered and enjoyable to take places. He walks beautifully on the lead, settles quickly into a calm rhythm, and always sits and waits when asked before crossing the road. He also travels comfortably and quietly in the car, making him an excellent companion for outings, errands, and weekend adventures.

Playtime is a joy for him. He loves chasing a ball, although bringing it back is optional, so the “two-ball method” works beautifully. Mogwai is fully house-trained, responds well to gentle guidance, and puts in his best effort when treats are part of the deal.

He is also a great lover of water. If the hose is on, Mogwai is absolutely involved. In the quieter moments of his day, you will find him snoring contentedly, stretched out belly-up on his bed, looking every bit the picture of Staffy happiness. Although he still enjoys the occasional puppy-like burst of silliness, he is generally a well-mannered, easygoing gentleman with plenty of character and endless love for his people.

Mogwai is seeking a kind, understanding home committed to positive reinforcement and companionship. With a comfortable place to curl up, your time and love, he will reward you with loyalty, affection, and the sort of joyful presence only a Staffy can offer.

What he is looking for: A kind, Staffy-loving home with plenty of attention, positive training, and a comfy bed worthy of his snoozing skills. No other pets, please — Mogwai prefers being the centre of your universe. And treat, all the treats.
