🐾 Meet Sammy — A Sweet, Sensitive Soul (Foster or Adopt)🐾

Sammy is a gentle and affectionate boy with a shy streak, especially around men, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a loving and loyal companion. He’s friendly with other dogs and has lived happily with them in the past, making him a great match for homes with another calm, confident dog. He’s not suited to living with cats or small animals. Sammy is also comfortable around children and enjoys their company. He is great on lead and enjoys getting in his daily walks.

Sammy is a truly sweet boy who settles well once he knows the routine. He is eager to bond with people who show him patience, kindness, and consistency. He is currently at the FFAR Sanctuary but is looking for a fosterer or adopter who can give him a lovely home.

Sammy’s Ideal Home:

✔ Secure, fully fenced property

✔ No cats or small animals

✔ Another friendly dog in the home optional but welcomed

✔ Owners willing to commit to training (confidence building, enrichment)

✔ People who understand shy dogs and can give him time to warm up
